Warriors Get The "W"
All City Leadership Academy Falls to Benjamin Banneker The Warriors won a tight 6-5 game yesterday at Commodore Barry Park wearing there Black jerseys with gold numbers and letters. Sophomore Ronald Lashley lead the team on the mound with 15 strikeouts while only giving up 1 hit in a 7 inning complete game. The Warriors were having a dreadful day on the field because of costly errors that resulted in runs. They were having a grim day with the bats as well but were able to scrape some runs across the plate. In the 6th inning, Ronald Lashley hit a fly ball to center field with Sophomore Jonathan James on 2nd base. The ALCA center fielder made a throwing error trying to throw James out at 2nd as he took off on the crack of the bat. The throw went into the dugout (dead ball territory) and James was granted two bases from second allowing him to score the tying run. With one out in the 7th inning Senior Jordan Bernard walked. By the third pitch Bernard was on third after stealing
